With great regret I have had to decline an invitation to the “Meeting of the Minds” which is a think tank of the best of the best golf course owners in the USA. It is not just because of being reconized as a leader but mainly because of the opportunity to learn. See, being a decision maker/owner in multiple businesses it is difficult to divide time. Sometimes desire has to be overridden by necessity. There is nothing that I would like to do more than brainstorm with the best of the best of the nation’s best golf operators, but in this case I must attend an informational meeting of new technology for Wireless Internet delivery. We are looking at investments of 30-50k for testing purposes to deliver better internet to our customers. Heart is heavy not being able to listen and learn from the best of the best in the golf industry but our internet business needs to stay on top of the new technology for our customers. The Wisps business is like riding a wave, you either ride the wave or are ahead or behind the crest, the outcomes are obvious.
