Recently I read an article about Teamwork. \u00a0Every successful business or successful venture has evidence of teamwork. \u00a0Teamwork is essential to getting daily\u00a0tasks and done and to fulfill the mission of the organization. \u00a0Most businesses have it to some extent or they do not have staff. \u00a0I see many small businesses that lack the talent to manage the team. \u00a0Often the “Team is fractured into “Sub-teams”. \u00a0In other words managers are often more concerned about getting “their team’s” allegiance to\u00a0him\/herself\u00a0that they lose focus on the main team. \u00a0At that point communication breaks down and the organization only is hitting on 4 of 6 cylinders. \u00a0This is often the case on businesses that are struggling and not able to give the raises etc. that once were\u00a0commonplace prior to the recession. \u00a0“Sub-Team leaders” are exactly\u00a0what the name implies, “Sub-team”. \u00a0 We all need to strive to develop the compreshensive umbrella team to be stronger than a\u00a0“sub-team”.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
